竣工写真は、完成した建築が本来の姿を留めている、一度きりの瞬間の記録です。引き渡し前、生活感が入る前の状態にしか存在しない設計者の意図と空間の佇まいを、可能なかぎり忠実に遺すための写真です。
Completion photography records architecture in its truest state — the moment design becomes form, before everyday life enters the frame. The aim is fidelity, not interpretation: to preserve a building and its interior as they were conceived, with technical precision and a close reading of light and material.
撮るのではなく、記憶する。

竣工写真の役割は、その建築が本来持つ姿を、可能なかぎり忠実に記録することだと考えています。設計者の意図、施主の想い、職人の仕事、空間のスケール、光の質、素材の手触り——竣工の瞬間にしか存在しないそれらを、意味のある一枚として遺します。
そのために必要なのは、技術的な精度と、空間を読み解く観察眼です。とりわけ大切にしているのは、素材の質感の表現。壁の凹凸、コンクリートや木の経年——写真では本来とらえにくい「ものとしての存在感」を、丁寧なピント合わせとデジタル処理で、画面の中に焼き付けます。
建築専門の撮影現場で重ねてきた経験を糧に、建築写真家として、自らの眼と手で一枚ずつ向き合います。
Completion photography exists to record a building faithfully — the intent of the architect, the scale of a space, the quality of light, the touch of materials, all of which live only at the moment of completion, held as a single, considered frame. What it asks for is technical precision and an eye that reads space; above all, the rendering of material — the grain of a wall, the aging of concrete and timber, the quiet presence of things — brought into focus through patient craft. As an architectural photographer, I meet each frame with my own eye and hand, one at a time.

When it is finished, time begins.
竣工直後、まだ生活の気配が入る前の状態は、設計の意図がもっとも純粋なかたちで立ち現れる瞬間。その建築の出発点を、外観・内観・ディテールにわたって正確に記録します。
建築は、一日のなかで絶えず表情を変えます。朝のやわらかな光、昼の深い陰影、空が沈む夕景——同じ空間でも、光が変われば佇まいはまったく別のものになります。その建築がもっとも美しく現れる時間と光を見極め、最良の一瞬を捉えること。竣工写真を建築写真家へ依頼する価値は、まずここにあります。
そして、建築の物語は竣工で終わりません。人が住まい、使い、年月を重ねるなかで、建築は少しずつ表情を深めていきます。素材は時を吸って色を変え、空間には暮らしの痕跡が積もる——竣工の一枚がその出発点なら、年を経た一枚は、その建築が歩んできた時間そのものの記録です。節目ごとに撮り続けることで、一棟の歴史を一冊の物語として遺していく。竣工撮影から、その後を見つめ続ける継続的な記録まで、長く伴走できることを、私は大切にしています。
A building's story does not end at completion. As it is lived in, used, and weathered by the years, its character only deepens — materials take on color, and daily life leaves its trace. If the first frame marks a beginning, a later one becomes a record of the time the building has lived through. Photographed at intervals, a building can be preserved not as a single moment, but as an unfolding story. From completion onward, I value accompanying a building over the long term — and bearing witness to the life it goes on to lead.

Ideally just after completion, before furniture and daily life arrive — when the building is at its cleanest and most composed. Once the handover date is set, an early conversation lets us photograph it in the finest light.
